Our Team.

  • Meet Kit, the owner of Lost Sanctum Tattoo, he is also our senior and most versatile artist. A true master of mixed styles, although his alternative blackwork designs would certainly be his most popular. Kit's greywash realism work is extremely impressive, but he loves nothing more than creating unique colour tattoos. Neo-Traditional and Oriental inspired designs are also among his top favourites, along with mystical, spiritual, and geometric styles that truly resonate with his soul. He’s never afraid of trying new things recently taking off with free handing a new popular style, cyber-tribal. There’s no tattoo too big, small, silly or meaningful that he can’t nail. Kit's secret talent? He's a "cover-up" wizard, much to his own dislike, haha.

Kit is a humble and gentle soul who cares deeply about his staff and clients. At Lost Sanctum Tattoo, everyone is family, and you can feel the welcoming, judgement-free vibe from the moment you step inside whether you’re sitting with him for your very first, small tattoo or finishing off a full body suit.

You will easily find yourself in fun and interesting conversations that span a wide range of topics. From anime and music to video games, animals, unexplained mysteries, spiritual theories, and all sorts of silly chit-chat. Kit is a great listener and an even better talker, either way, you will leave with a new best friend and a charged social battery.

Fun fact; Kit is fluent in Japanese, he lived and studied in Japan, even doing his apprenticeship under a Japanese mentor roughly 10 years ago.

  • Luke has been in the industry for over a decade, spending ten years as a body piercer before joining Lost Sanctum Tattoo. After initially working at the front desk, his personal interest in tattoos led him to pursue an apprenticeship with Kit as his mentor, to which he is nearing the end of.

Luke’s favourite tattoo styles are American Traditional and Japanese, and he’s gained a lot of experience doing bold and black designs of barbed wire, spiderwebs and coffins. He’s also known for his bright and colourful pop culture designs with characters from The Simpsons and Studio Ghibli to name a few, being his crowd pleasers.

As the go-to artist for our “walk-in” clients, Luke is ready to take on spontaneous tattoos in a mixed range of styles, including script and fine-line work. He’s always excited to tattoo his flash designs and can do these at an affordable rate.

While Luke may come across as quiet at first, he has an infectious sense of humour and quick wit that leaves the entire studio in stitches once he gets going. His fun-loving, silly personality and wholesome lifestyle are a reminder that you truly cannot judge a book by its cover. Luke is a Star Wars nerd who spends his free time playing video games and relaxing with his high school sweetheart and cats.

  • Introducing our new apprentice, Will! Passionate about drawing and always dreaming of becoming a tattoo artist, Will left his successful career as a senior hair stylist to achieve this lifelong goal. Will sacrificed many weekends volunteering at the studio helping to clean and run errands for our artists. Will has proved himself by helping all our flash days run smoothly, even dressing up as cupid in the process. Will is the true embodiment of a hard worker, he’s always the first person here in the mornings to set up and the last one to leave in the evening to take out the bins.

Will’s art style is influenced by Japanese Animation, Manga, video games and, well, Hentai.. The youngest of the Lost Sanctum Team being a huge advantage, he whips up on-trend aesthetic flash sheets popular among many of our followers.

Will has a big heart and is by far one of the most giving humans you could have in your atmosphere. He likes playing with his lightsabre (no, that’s not a euphemism) and is always doing something funny to make us all laugh, like twerking to whatever song is pumping in the background.

  • Liezyl’s steady surgeon-like hands could be the secret ingredient to her perfectly fine line, minimal designs. Liezyl loves to tattoo her own flash designs, which are usually a mix of fantasy inspired, feminine imagery. However, she’s always happy to work with her clients to create something unique to them. Her aesthetic ranges from dainty fairies, frogs and sexy pixie girls to skeletons, guns and snakes.

Liezyl’s talent and popularity is no secret, as her books fill up so quickly. As a new mother, she’s currently only working with us on weekends, spending as much quality time as she can with her baby girl, husband, and pets. Make sure to stay tuned to her Instagram for updates when she’s taking appointments as she’s one of the most in-demand artists around.

Liezyl has lived in South Africa, New Zealand and now calls Australia home. She’s extremely passionate about music, playing world of warcraft, illustrating and cosplay. Liezyl has a very strong and independent personality while simultaneously bringing a wholesome and loving atmosphere to the studio that we all very much look forward to at the end of the week.

  • Thalia-Star is the studio manager here at Lost Sanctum Tattoo, responsible for our social media pages, responding to emails and calls, handling bookings, quotes and deposits, organising flash days and making sure everything runs smoothly. In addition to being a professional hand holder, bubble-tea order mule and studio DJ, Thalia’s number one priority is making sure our clients feel comfortable and welcomed in our studio from the perspective of being a previous client and not a tattoo artist.

Thalia’s friendly and excited personality makes her super easy to talk to, she firmly believes there is no such thing as a silly question, and encourages you to ask us anything, whether it’s about how to book in your first tattoo, checking in with us about your healing tattoo, or advice about which artist would best suit your desired style.

Before joining the team at Lost Sanctum Tattoo, Thalia-Star worked in the Death Care industry and managed multiple funeral homes for almost a decade. She left her corporate job to work in a positive and creative atmosphere that is Lost Sanctum Tattoo, which she calls the happiest place on earth (or at the very least Southport, lol). Thalia is creative in her own right as a hobby photographer, is family orientated, travels regularly to Japan with her husband and is a collector of vintage and retro style furniture and fashion.

  • Meet Ebony, the missing puzzle piece to our studio and the newest member of the Lost Sanctum Team.

Ebony really is a master of mixed styles and always likes to tattoo something unique to make each day different. Ebony’s versatile skills show off how much of a great artist she is, but her micro detailing on fine line pieces are especially notable.

Ebony is passionate about her career, a full-time artist here at our studio and a full-time mum when she’s at home, we’re all inspired by her motivation. She’s worked alongside some of the best Aussie Tattoo Artists being personally invited to tattoo for well-known tattoo brands at festivals and expo’s.

Although she appears as if butter wouldn’t melt in her mouth, she laughs at all our twisted jokes and fits in perfectly with her dark humour. Pint sized and equally as graceful as cheeky, she’s extremely comfortable to be around. If you’re a little spooked or intimated by the idea of coming into a tattoo studio, she is definitely the artist for you. She kind of reminds me of a little fairy serving you tea on a toadstool, or a warm hug from your grandma Betty… if Betty had seeeeeen some shit in her time.
