The founder and owner of Lost Sanctum Tattoo. Kit has worked within the tattooing industry for over 8 years. Throughout his journey, he has worked for a variety of studios on the Gold Coast and has had the opportunity to tattoo alongside the Australian Tattoo Expo conventions in both Melbourne and Brisbane. 

A Gold Coast local of over 20years, Kit grew up in Burleigh and was always drawing in his school books and on his school friends. The desire to pursue a creative career allowed him to be found by tattooing. Since then he has never looked back. ‘Art is an expression of our passion, and our passion is an expression of our purpose.’ Kit was fortunate enough to spend a year in Japan, and is fluent in Japanese. He completed his apprenticeship in Australia under the guidance of a Japanese mentor. His desire to create art stemmed from his interest in Japanese culture which you can see influenced throughout some of his works. Though Kit does not specialise in the Japanese ‘Irezumi’ style of tattooing, he enjoys incorporating themes of Japanese history and pop-culture into his work.

Kit works closely with his client’s to ensure the design is unique and individual to their needs. Creating artwork that is specifical for you and helps the client express their individuality is one of his many passions. His experience with working closely amongst some popular and established artists specialising in specific styles, has given him a versatile approach to his tattooing. Kit is capable of tattooing most styles of work, including cover-up work, and will always be very honest in taking on work that he feels is appropriate for his abilities. His recent focus has been on large-scale Greywash Realism work, but has a unique eye for colour and has a passion for Neo-Traditional and Oriental inspired designs for tattooing.
